Book Getter

Getter is an American DJ, producer and rapper from San Jose, California, who has become a cult hero of underground bass music. Born Tanner Petulla, he began DJing across the country at 17, found early support from dubstep pioneers Datsik and Downlink, and at 19 relocated to Los Angeles to chase music full time. In 2012 he signed with Datsik's Firepower Records and also released music through Rottun Recordings and OWSLA. Known for snarling synths, crushing bass and a defiantly independent streak, he has collaborated with Skrillex, Datsik, Borgore and Suicideboys. His releases include I Want More (2013), Getter Presents: Planet Neutral (2015), Loose Cannon (2018) and Visceral (2018), the last marking a shift from heavy dubstep toward a more atmospheric, melodic sound with hard-hitting roots intact. In 2017 he launched Shred Collective, a combined record label, clothing line and artist collective. Under the alias Terror Reid he also produces and performs hip-hop, best known for the track "Uppercuts." A regular performer at EDC, Getter delivers explosive, genre-hopping sets that keep bass fans on their toes from the first drop to the last.
