Book Skream

Skream is an English electronic music producer and DJ from Bromley, south London, and a founding architect of dubstep. As a teenager he worked at Croydon's Big Apple Records, the shop at the center of the early scene, where fellow pioneer Hatcha became the first DJ to spin his dubplates. Making tracks since age 15, he co-produced dark, minimal records with Benga, released as The Judgment in 2003 and Hydro in 2004, and his 2005 solo single "Midnight Request Line" became a landmark of the sound. He released his debut album, Skream!, in 2006 and followed with Outside the Box in 2010. With Artwork and Benga he co-founded the group Magnetic Man, whose self-titled album arrived in 2010. Skream has released music on labels including Tempa and Tectonic and has toured across Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan. Since 2013 his DJ sets have centered on house and disco, and his long-running Skreamizm series reached Volume 8 in 2023. He brings deep dance-music history, crowd-reading instincts and a set that moves from bass-heavy roots to feel-good grooves.
