Book Crankdat
Crankdat is the stage name of Christian Smith, an American DJ and EDM producer born in 1997, known for heavy, high-energy bass music and inventive remixes. He first broke through by reworking other artists' songs, most notably his remix of Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen", and those edits racked up millions of plays and caught the attention of big names such as Skrillex and The Chainsmokers while he was barely out of his teens. Touring steadily, he began releasing original music, including the Jauz collaboration "I Hold Still" with Slushii and the anthem "Dollars", both in 2017. Later singles include "In The Air" featuring T-Pain, "Kneel Before Me" with Slander and Asking Alexandria, "Wobble" with Tisoki, "Next Life" with Adventure Club and Krewella, and "Who I Am". In 2019 he took his show on the road with the ambitious Gearworld tour, and he has since released his Remix Machine Mixtape series in three volumes from 2022 to 2025. His releases have landed on labels including Monstercat, Armada Music, Ultra Records and Asylum Worldwide. Crankdat delivers explosive, crowd-pleasing festival sets packed with drops and genre-blending surprises.
