Book Hannah Wants

Hannah Wants, born Hannah Smith, is a British DJ and producer of house music who traded a promising football career for the decks. Before music she played for England's youth teams and came up through every level at Aston Villa, from under-10s to the senior side, scoring a debut hat trick and leading the team with eight goals as Villa won the Northern Division title in 2003–2004, before stepping away from the game at 23. She started DJing in 2002, moving from speed garage to bass-heavy house that blends fresh and classic records. Her big break came in Ibiza in 2010, when she filled in as a headliner at Es Paradis, which led to her first residency at Birmingham's Rainbow Warehouse and regular bookings across England. Her bi-monthly mixtapes on SoundCloud built a loyal following, and her single "Rhymes," made with Chris Lorenzo and inspired by Busta Rhymes' "Touch It," became a club hit in 2015. Both Mixmag and DJ Magazine named her Best Breakthrough DJ in 2012. Wants brings driving, bass-led house sets with an athlete's energy and the instincts to keep a dance floor locked in all night.
