Book Alan Parsons

Alan Parsons is an English audio engineer, producer, songwriter, singer and musician whose ears shaped some of rock's most celebrated recordings. Starting at Abbey Road Studios at eighteen in 1967, he engineered the Beatles' Abbey Road and Let It Be and Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), which earned his first Grammy nomination. He also turned Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat" into a jazzy hit by adding its saxophone part. With his own group, The Alan Parsons Project, he created lush concept albums including Tales of Mystery and Imagination – Edgar Allan Poe (1976), I Robot (1977), Pyramid (1978), Eve (1979) and Eye in the Sky (1982). Under his own name he has released Try Anything Once (1993), On Air (1996), The Time Machine (1999), A Valid Path (2004), The Secret (2019) and From the New World (2022). He has received 13 Grammy nominations and won Best Immersive Audio Album for Eye in the Sky (35th Anniversary Edition) in 2019. In concert, Alan Parsons and his band recreate the Project's progressive, cinematic sound with polished musicianship, giving audiences a night of richly arranged classics.
