Book Wolf Gang
Wolf Gang are the British alternative and symphonic rock band led by singer and songwriter Max McElligott, known for lush, cinematic pop songs with big melodies. After working with a range of musicians, McElligott settled on a live lineup in late 2009 that included drummer Lasse Petersen, formerly of the Rakes, guitarist Gavin Slater and bassist James Wood, with a keyboard player joining on tour. The band's debut album, Suego Faults, was released in July 2011 on Atlantic Records and included the singles "Lions in Cages" and "The King and All of His Men," which brought them radio play and festival slots across Europe. In February 2013 Wolf Gang signed a worldwide deal with Cherrytree Records, an imprint of Interscope, and the second album, Alveron, followed in 2014 with a more expansive, polished sound. McElligott's songs combine orchestral arrangements, layered vocals and soaring choruses with an indie rock spirit. On stage, Wolf Gang bring a dramatic, uplifting show that balances emotional ballads with driving, anthemic tracks, making them a strong fit for fans of melodic British alternative music.
