Book Tom Morello
Tom Morello is a Grammy-winning American guitarist, singer and songwriter. A Harlem native who grew up in Libertyville, Illinois, he earned a social studies degree from Harvard University in 1986 and then headed to Los Angeles, where he co-founded Rage Against the Machine with vocalist Zack de la Rocha. The band's blend of heavy riffs and hip-hop helped earn it a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2023. Morello went on to play in Audioslave and Prophets of Rage, and he formed Street Sweeper Social Club with Boots Riley. Grammy.com lists two wins from ten nominations, including Best Metal Performance for "Tire Me" and Best Hard Rock Performance for "Guerrilla Radio." He also writes folk-protest songs as The Nightwatchman and released the solo album The Atlas Underground in 2018, followed by The Atlas Underground Fire and The Atlas Underground Flood in 2021. Rolling Stone placed him at number 18 on its ranking of guitar greats, and he has joined Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band on tour.
