Book Rage Against the Machine
Rage Against the Machine is a Los Angeles rock band formed in 1991 by singer Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk. The group fused metal, hip-hop, punk and funk with politically charged lyrics, and its 1992 self-titled debut included "Killing in the Name." Evil Empire in 1996 featured "Bulls on Parade," followed by The Battle of Los Angeles in 1999 and the covers album Renegades in 2000. The band split in 2000, reunited for festival dates in 2007 and 2008, and returned with the Public Service Announcement Tour in 2022 after delays caused by the pandemic. It was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. The Battle of Los Angeles entered the Billboard 200 at number one, and the band's 2007 reunion began at the Coachella festival.
