Book Tara Lipinski

Tara Lipinski is an American figure skating champion turned star sports commentator. In 1997 she won both the U.S. national title and the world championship, and at the 1998 Winter Olympics she took the women's singles gold, becoming the youngest single skater ever to win Olympic and world titles. She was also a two-time Champions Series Final winner in 1997 and 1998 and was the first woman to land a triple loop to triple loop combination in competition, a jump that became her trademark. Her climb started early: she earned novice silver at the 1994 U.S. Championships and, at 12, became the youngest gold medalist at the 1994 U.S. Olympic Festival, followed by her first international win in Chemnitz, Germany. After leaving amateur competition in 1998, she toured in live skating shows until 2002. Since 2014 she has been one of NBC's lead figure skating analysts, sharing the booth with Terry Gannon and her close friend Johnny Weir, a trio known for sharp insight, fashion flair and real chemistry. Lipinski brings a champion's perspective and an engaging, upbeat personality.
