Marcus Mumford is the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who fronts Mumford & Sons and has won two Grammy Awards, Album of the Year for Babel and Best Long Form Music Video for Big Easy Express, from 13 nominations in all. Born in 1987, he founded Mumford & Sons in London, where he sings lead and plays guitar, drums and mandolin. In 2022 Mumford released his self-titled solo album, led by the single "Cannibal" and with guests including Phoebe Bridgers and Brandi Carlile, and toured it solo. He co-wrote the theme song for the Apple TV series Ted Lasso. He is also an in-demand producer, helming Hold Fast by Christian Letts of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, co-writing four of its songs, as well as Gamble for a Rose by King Charles and Say My Name in Your Sleep by Maisie Peters (2025).
