Book Lane 8
Lane 8 is the stage name of Daniel Goldstein, an American DJ and producer based in Denver whose warm, melodic deep house has earned a devoted following across electronic music. Signed to Anjunadeep in 2013, he released his debut album Rise in 2015, featuring vocalists including Solomon Grey, Patrick Baker and Matthew Dear, and he jokingly calls his sound "dreamy back rub house." Pete Tong tipped him as a future star, and Dancing Astronaut placed him on its artists-to-watch list for 2015. In 2016 he founded the label This Never Happened, named for the show concept that grew out of his Little by Little tour, where fans are asked to put phones away and stay present on the dance floor. The label champions new talent through its Root to Branch compilation series. His albums include Little by Little (2018), Brightest Lights (2020), Cross Pollination (2020), Reviver (2022), Childish (2024) and Cross Pollination II (2026). Since 2017 he has also hosted This Never Happened Summer Gatherings in outdoor settings. Live, he delivers immersive, emotional sets built for crowds who want to dance without distractions.
