Book Lance Burton

Lance Burton is an American stage magician and one of the defining headliners in Las Vegas history. He discovered magic at age five as a volunteer in Harry Collins's performance of the classic Miser's Dream, and Collins later became his teenage mentor, while Channing Pollock shaped his elegant card manipulation and signature doves. Burton won his first magic competition in 1977 and, in 1980, received the Gold Medal of Excellence from the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Within a week of relocating to Southern California he made his debut on The Tonight Show in 1981, returning for ten appearances with Johnny Carson and ten more with Jay Leno, and he also performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. After a celebrated run at the Folies Bergère, he headlined his own long-running Las Vegas production, logging upward of 15,000 shows in the city for five million spectators before stepping away from his Strip show in 2010. He later served as a judge on Criss Angel's Magic with the Stars. Burton's artistry set a standard for classic, graceful sleight of hand and grand illusion.
