Book Jeff McBride

Jeff McBride is an American magician and magic teacher, known on stage as Magnus, whose performances fuse classic sleight of hand with the masks and movement of Japanese kabuki theater. He is a master manipulator of cards, coins and other small objects, and has set several Guinness World Records. Major magic bodies have honored his work, among them the Academy of Magical Arts, the International Federation of Magic Societies and the Society of American Magicians. Based in Las Vegas, he founded the McBride Magic & Mystery School in 1991, a celebrated training ground whose guest faculty have included Teller and Lance Burton. For years he was a headline attraction at Caesars Palace's Magical Empire, and in 1993 and 1994 he created and performed at the World Magic Festival in New York State. McBride has lectured on magic and theater for the Smithsonian Institution and the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and he graced the cover of The Linking Ring in 1994. On television he played Joran Belar in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Equilibrium" and was featured on NBC's World's Greatest Magic II. His shows deliver theatrical, mysterious, visually stunning magic.
