Book Blue Man Group
Blue Man Group is a performance art troupe that began in New York City in 1987, famous for stage productions that mix music, art, comedy and technology. Its performers, called Blue Men, have blue-painted skin and stay silent throughout the show, expressing themselves through drumming, visuals and wide-eyed, curious body language. The group's music centers on custom percussion instruments, including drums made from PVC pipe, and has been recorded on four studio albums: Audio in 1999, The Complex in 2003, Three in 2016 and Overjoy to the World in 2023. Their recordings earned a Grammy nomination. Blue Man Group has performed in resident productions in cities such as New York, Las Vegas and Chicago, as well as on international tours and television. The shows are colorful, interactive, family-friendly spectacles full of surprise, humor, paint, marshmallows and rhythm.
