Megan Hilty is an American actress and singer who is best known for her work in Broadway musicals. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she made her Broadway debut in August 2004 as the standby for Glinda in Wicked, took over the role in 2005, and later originated it in the show's Los Angeles production, which opened in 2007. She went on to play Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical, and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 2016 for her role as Brooke Ashton in Noises Off. On television she starred as Ivy Lynn in the series Smash, singing "Let Me Be Your Star," a song nominated for a Grammy Award, and appeared as Liz in the sitcom Sean Saves the World.
