Book LaMarcus Aldridge
LaMarcus Aldridge is a former NBA big man who built a 16-season career on a famously reliable weapon, his signature fadeaway jumper. At Seagoville High School in Texas he was a Parade All-American and Texas Class 4A Player of the Year before playing two seasons for the Texas Longhorns. Picked second overall in the 2006 NBA draft, he became a cornerstone for the Portland Trail Blazers, spending nine seasons there and developing into a perennial All-Star. In 2015 he signed with the San Antonio Spurs, where he continued as a top scoring option, and he later joined the Brooklyn Nets in 2021 before returning for one more season with the team. Over his career Aldridge was named a NBA All-Star seven times and earned five All-NBA Team selections, combining size, footwork and a soft shooting touch that made him a matchup problem for a decade and a half. He brings an easygoing, thoughtful perspective on longevity, craft and team success, along with deep connections to fans in Portland, San Antonio and his home state of Texas.
