Book Brook Lopez
Brook Lopez is an American center for the Los Angeles Clippers, nicknamed "Splash Mountain," who won a NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. He played two seasons at Stanford, where he made the All-Pac-10 freshman team in 2006–07, and was taken 10th overall by the then-New Jersey Nets in the 2008 draft. Lopez spent nine seasons with the franchise through its move to Brooklyn, earned an All-Star selection there and left as the Nets' career scoring leader. After one season with the Los Angeles Lakers he signed with Milwaukee in 2018, where he twice made the NBA All-Defensive Team. Late in his Nets tenure, coach Kenny Atkinson asked him to remake his game as a three-point shooting specialist, and the long-range shot became a staple for the rest of his career. At Stanford he had averaged 19.3 points and 8.2 rebounds as a sophomore before turning pro. He has also represented the United States men's national team. His twin brother, Robin Lopez, spent 16 seasons in the NBA.
