Book Jrue Holiday
Jrue Holiday is an American guard for the Portland Trail Blazers and a two-time NBA champion known as one of the toughest perimeter defenders of his era. After one season at UCLA, where he made the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team, he was drafted 17th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2009 and spent four seasons there before a 2013 trade to the New Orleans Pelicans. In 2020 he moved to the Milwaukee Bucks and helped deliver the franchise a championship in 2021. A 2023 deal sent him to the Boston Celtics, where he won a second title in 2024, before a trade brought him back to Portland ahead of the 2025–26 season. Along the way he has made two All-Star teams and six NBA All-Defensive Teams, and he has also won Olympic gold with Team USA at the 2020 and 2024 Games. His game is built on strength, timing, smart decision-making and the ability to guard the opposing team's best scorer night after night. Holiday brings championship credibility, a quiet leader's perspective and the insight of a player who has helped two different franchises reach the top of the league.
