Book Kandace Springs
Kandace Springs is a jazz and soul singer and pianist from Nashville whose smoky voice and elegant playing draw comparisons to the great vocalists she grew up loving, including Nina Simone. The daughter of Nashville session singer Scat Springs, she began piano lessons at ten and caught attention online with a cover of Sam Smith's "Stay with Me." In 2014 she released a self-titled debut EP on Blue Note Records and joined Ghostface Killah on his single "Love Don't Live Here No More." Prince invited her to perform with him, and she has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Later... with Jools Holland. Her debut album Soul Eyes arrived in 2016 with producer Larry Klein, followed by Indigo in 2018, produced by Karriem Riggins and featuring a Roy Hargrove trumpet solo. The Women Who Raised Me came in 2020, then My Name Is Sheba, Run Your Race and Lady In Satin in 2025. In concert she offers intimate, sophisticated sets, singing while accompanying herself at the piano.
