Book Ginuwine
Ginuwine, born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, is an American R&B singer who started out in the early 1990s in the Rochester, New York, musical collective Swing Mob. After signing with Epic Records, he made his solo debut in 1996 with "Pony," which climbed to number six on the Hot 100 and led into his first album, Ginuwine... The Bachelor. His next two albums, 100% Ginuwine in 1999 and The Life in 2001, both landed in the top five of the Billboard 200, and "Differences," from The Life, peaked at number four on the Hot 100, his highest placement. The Senior, in 2003, produced the top-ten single "In Those Jeans" and the singles "Hell Yeah," featuring Birdman, and "Stingy." Back II da Basics followed in 2005, then I Apologize in 2007, A Man's Thoughts in 2009 on Warner Records, and Elgin and A Ginuwine Christmas in 2011. In 2007 he joined Tyrese Gibson and Tank to form the trio TGT, and in 2018 he released the album Pony. Ginuwine's smooth, sensual tenor and sharp dance moves define his stage show.
