Book Don McLean
Don McLean is a folk-rock singer, songwriter and guitarist nicknamed the American Troubadour. He is remembered for 1971's "American Pie," an eight-and-a-half-minute song so widely quoted that it is often called a cultural touchstone. His hit singles also include "Vincent," "Dreidel," "Castles in the Air" and "Wonderful Baby," and he scored with covers of Roy Orbison's "Crying" and the Skyliners' "Since I Don't Have You." McLean's catalog stretches across twenty-one studio albums, from Tapestry in 1970 and American Pie in 1971 through Playin' Favorites, Homeless Brother, Believers and a Christmas collection. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In concert McLean performs with an acoustic guitar and a warm, unhurried delivery, inviting audiences to sing along to songs that have been part of American life across five decades.
