Book Day26
Day26 is an American male R&B group created on the finale of MTV's Making the Band 4 in August 2007, when singers Robert Curry, Brian Angel, Willie Taylor, Michael McCluney and Qwanell Mosley were chosen and signed to Bad Boy Records. The name marks August 26, the day the five went from unknowns to a signed act. Their self-titled debut, DAY26 (2008), arrived in March 2008 led by the single "Got Me Going," which premiered on the show's finale, and the album opened at number one on the Billboard 200. Later seasons of Making the Band 4 followed the group on tour with labelmates and in the studio for Forever in a Day (2009), which also topped the Billboard charts. Day26 won the BET Award for Best Group in 2009. Years later the group returned with Day Ones (2024), reconnecting with the fans who grew up with them on television. Built around five distinct lead voices, Day26 delivers smooth harmonies, romantic slow jams and choreographed energy, giving audiences a polished R&B show rooted in the late-2000s boy-band era.
