Book Colter Wall
Colter Wall is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician who is known for his deep, gruff baritone and narrative songwriting rooted in country, folk and western traditions. He recorded the seven-song EP Imaginary Appalachia in Regina with producer Jason Plumb, and its first single, "The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie," came out in March 2015. The EP's "Sleeping on the Blacktop" later appeared in the films Hell or High Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. In 2016 he opened for Lucinda Williams at the Ryman Auditorium and signed with Rick Rubin's publishing company American Songs. His self-titled debut album, produced by Dave Cobb, arrived in 2017 and was followed by Songs of the Plains in 2018, Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs in 2020, Little Songs in 2023 and Memories and Empties in 2025. Wall sings in a voice far older than his years, backed by sparse, rootsy arrangements, and his live shows have a stripped-down, campfire feel that suits storytelling songs.
