Book Mitchell Tenpenny
Mitchell Tenpenny is a Nashville-born country singer and songwriter, born August 17, 1989, known for big, gravelly vocals and songs that pair heartbreak with arena-ready hooks. His early recordings include Trying to Matter (2011) and Black Crow (2015), the latter featuring "Canes Creek" with the bluegrass band The SteelDrivers. As a writer he co-penned "If the Boot Fits," a Top 10 country airplay hit for Granger Smith, and he inked a songwriting contract with Sony ATV in Nashville. In 2017 he released the Linden Ave EP, named for the street where his grandmother Donna Hilley once lived, and a partnership between Riser House and Columbia Nashville brought the 2018 single "Drunk Me," his breakthrough at country radio. His major-label full-length, Telling All My Secrets, debuted at in the top five of Billboard's country albums ranking in December 2018. Since then he has released the holiday record Naughty List (2021), The Low Light Sessions (2022), This Is the Heavy (2022) and The 3rd (2024). Tenpenny's live show mixes rowdy singalongs with raw ballads, giving country fans a powerful voice and a genuine Music City storyteller up close.
