Casey Wilson is an American actress, comedian and screenwriter who came up through the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Los Angeles. There she and creative partner June Diane Raphael built the long-running two-woman show Rode Hard and Put Away Wet, a selection at the 2005 US Comedy Arts Festival. Wilson then spent two seasons in the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live from 2008 to 2009 before starring as the lovable Penny Hartz on ABC's Happy Endings, earning two Critics' Choice nominations. Her television work since includes Black Monday, The Shrink Next Door, The Hotwives, Marry Me, Mrs. Fletcher, Atypical and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. In film she has supporting roles in Julie & Julia, Gone Girl (2014), The Meddler and Always Be My Maybe (2019), and she co-wrote the screenplay for Bride Wars (2009) as well as the Sundance comedy Ass Backwards, which she also starred in. Wilson co-hosts the popular podcast Bitch Sesh with Danielle Schneider. She brings improv-sharpened timing, warmth and a writer's ear for a laugh to any stage or panel.
