Book Kat Dennings

Kat Dennings is an American actress whose dry wit and deadpan delivery have made her a favorite of comedy and blockbuster audiences alike. She is best known for two signature roles: the sharp-tongued waitress Max Black on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls (2011–2017), and Darcy Lewis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a character she introduced in Thor (2011) and carried into Thor: The Dark World (2013), the series WandaVision and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). Dennings made her professional debut on HBO's Sex and the City in 2000, starred as Sarah on the WB sitcom Raising Dad, and headlined the Disney Channel film The Scream Team (2002). She later had a recurring role as Zoe Butler on ER. Her film credits include The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Big Momma's House 2 (2006), Charlie Bartlett (2007), The House Bunny (2008), the indie favorite Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008), Shorts (2009), Defendor (2009) and Suburban Gothic (2014). More recently she joined the cast of the sitcom Shifting Gears. Dennings brings quick humor, warmth and broad fan recognition to any appearance, connecting with sitcom viewers and superhero fans in equal measure.
