Book Laura Prepon

Laura Prepon is an American actress and television director who rose to fame as Donna Pinciotti, the smart, grounded girl next door on the Fox sitcom That '70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006. While working on the series she attended film school and earned a Teen Choice Award nomination in 2002 for the role. She later found a second signature part as Alex Vause in the Netflix hit Orange Is the New Black (2013 to 2019). Before television she worked in New York theater, studied acting at Caroline Thomas's Total Theatre Lab, and modeled in Paris, Milan and Brazil. Her film work began with the independent musical drama Southlander (2001), alongside Beck, and continued with Slackers (2002), Karla (2006), Come Early Morning (2006), Lay the Favorite (2012), The Girl on the Train (2016) and The Hero (2017). She also appeared on How I Met Your Mother. Prepon has stepped behind the camera as a director of episodic television, adding a filmmaker's perspective to her story. She is a relaxed, funny and candid guest who connects easily with fans of two of television's most beloved ensembles.
