Book Andrew Bayer

Andrew Bayer is an American DJ and producer whose melodic electronic music has made him a mainstay of the Anjunabeats family and its deep house sister label Anjunadeep. Born in Washington, D.C., he trained on piano as a child and earned a degree in music synthesis from Berklee College of Music. He first emerged as half of the trance duo Signalrunners with Scottish producer Alan Nimmo, releasing EPs and remixes through Anjunadeep, and later formed the trio Artificial with Norin & Rad. His solo debut, It's Artificial (2011), showcased a wide range of styles, while If It Were You, We'd Never Leave (2013) leaned downtempo and featured "Lose Sight", which reached number 19 on the US Dance charts. Later albums include In My Last Life (2018), In My Next Life (2019), Duality, Part One and Duality, Part Two (2022), and A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home (2026). Bayer has earned two Grammy nominations for Best Dance Recording, for his production work on Above & Beyond's "We're All We Need" from We Are All We Need and "Northern Soul" from Common Ground. His DJ sets move fluidly from emotive melodies to driving, club-ready grooves.
