A-Trak is a Canadian DJ, producer and label boss hailed by many as a global ambassador for the art of DJing. Born Alain Macklovitch in Montreal, he became a sensation in 1997 by winning the DMC World DJ Championship at just 15, the youngest and first Canadian to take the title. He later became the first turntablist to sweep the DMC, ITF and Vestax titles and the first to collect five world championships. A-Trak then served as Kanye West's original tour DJ and built an international career as a club DJ and remixer known for dazzling scratch technique. In 2007 he launched Fool's Gold Records, helping develop artists including Kid Cudi, Danny Brown and Flosstradamus. With Armand Van Helden he forms the duo Duck Sauce, whose hit "Barbra Streisand" earned a Grammy nomination. His releases include Bucktooth Wizards (1997), Showdown (2008), U Wasn't There (2022) and CLUSTERFUNK (2023), and he headlined the Sunglasses Is A Must Tour in 2006. Rolling Stone named him among the 50 Most Important People in EDM. A-Trak delivers high-energy sets packed with technical fireworks and genre-hopping fun.
