Book Xzibit
Xzibit is the West Coast rapper, actor and television host whose albums Restless (2000) and Man vs. Machine (2002) were executive produced by Dr. Dre, the latter reaching number three on the Billboard 200. Born Alvin Joiner in Detroit, he started out in 1992 and signed with Loud Records, releasing his debut, At the Speed of Life (1996), with the single "Paparazzi." His second album, 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz, brought "What U See Is What U Get." Joining forces with Dre led to Restless and its hit "X," and to a slot on the 2000 Up in Smoke Tour alongside Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Ice Cube. After moving to Columbia he released Man vs. Machine, followed by Weapons of Mass Destruction and Full Circle, then returned with Napalm in 2012 and Kingmaker in 2025. Since 2013 he has also recorded with the hip-hop supergroup Serial Killers alongside B-Real and Demrick. On television he became a pop culture favorite as the host of MTV's Pimp My Ride, and his acting work includes the role of Shine Johnson on Empire.
