B-Real, born Louis Mario Freese in 1970, is a rapper from California and one of the two lead voices of Cypress Hill alongside Sen Dog, and the one member who has been there throughout. The group's debut album, Cypress Hill, came out in 1991. B-Real's nasal, instantly recognizable delivery set him apart in West Coast hip-hop. He has also been part of the rap metal band Kush, from 2000 to 2002, and the hip-hop supergroup Serial Killers. As a solo artist he has issued five studio albums, including Smoke N Mirrors in 2009, Prohibition, Pt. 3 in 2016, Los Meros in 2020, Tell You Somethin in 2021 and Real Psycho in 2024. He is also an entrepreneur. B-Real's live shows are energetic and crowd-driven, mixing Cypress Hill classics with newer material and a loose, party-ready attitude.
