Book Timothy Ferriss

Tim Ferriss is an American entrepreneur, investor, author and podcaster whose books reshaped how a generation thinks about work, productivity and self-experimentation. His breakout title, The 4-Hour Workweek (2009), drew on his experience running BrainQUICKEN, the online nutritional supplement company he founded in 2001 and sold in 2010. He followed it with The 4-Hour Body (2010) and The 4-Hour Chef (2012), then shifted toward distilling lessons from top performers in Tools of Titans (2016) and Tribe of Mentors (2017). As an angel investor and startup advisor, Ferriss backed or advised companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Duolingo, Digg, StumbleUpon and Uber, counseled Evernote and TaskRabbit on strategy, and helped Shopify launch its "Build a Business" competition in 2010. In 2015 he stepped back from new investing to focus on writing and media, and he has since become a prominent supporter of scientific research into psychedelic treatments. He has also openly reconsidered parts of his earlier lifestyle-optimization approach.
