Book The Main Squeeze
The Main Squeeze is an American funk band that began in 2010 as a party act on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, and the group has never lost that instinct for getting a room moving. Their self-titled first LP, The Main Squeeze, landed in 2012, and Mind Your Head followed in 2015 with Randy Jackson in the producer's chair. The catalog has grown steadily ever since: Without a Sound in 2017, 1 2 3 4 5 in 2020, To Be Determined in 2022, The Vibetape in 2023 and Panorama in 2025, seven studio releases in all. The current lineup features Corey Frye on vocals and keys, Ben "Smiley" Silverstein on keys and keytar, Maximillian Newman on guitar, Reuben Gingrich on drums and Rob "Skywalker" Walker on bass, keys and vocals. Built on tight grooves, soulful lead vocals, keytar flourishes and jam-friendly arrangements, The Main Squeeze delivers a high-energy, musician-forward funk show that rewards both dedicated music fans and casual listeners who just came to dance. Their live sets lean into extended grooves and crowd interaction, with funk played loud, warm and by a real band.
