Book Sisqó

Sisqó is the Baltimore R&B singer who first made his name as the flamboyant lead voice of Dru Hill before becoming a solo star at the turn of the millennium. Born Mark Andrews in November 1978, he was working at The Fudgery in Baltimore's Inner Harbor when he and three co-workers formed the group, naming it after the city's Druid Hill Park and signing with Island Records in 1996. When the members each set out to make solo records, he released Unleash the Dragon on Def Soul in November 1999. The album took off the following February with "Thong Song", a runaway novelty hit that climbed to number three on the Billboard Hot 100, and the ballad "Incomplete" then went all the way to number one. The record peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. He also launched the girl group LovHer, whose song landed on the Rush Hour 2 soundtrack, and followed with Return of Dragon in 2001. Sisqó rejoined Dru Hill in 2002, appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2010 and released his third solo album, Last Dragon, in 2015. He still tours both solo and with the group.
