Book Scott Thompson
Carrot Top, the stage name of Scott Thompson, is a stand-up comic and actor, famous for his prop comedy. His big break came in 1991 with an appearance on Comic Strip Live, and around the same time he competed on Star Search. Through the 1990s he became a familiar face on Cartoon Network, serving as the channel's continuity announcer from 1995 to 1999 and producing and starring in the early-morning show Carrot Top's AM Mayhem. He headlined the feature film Chairman of the Board and was a spokesman for 1-800-CALL-ATT. His television guest spots include Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Scrubs, Criss Angel Mindfreak and a memorable turn as himself on Reno 911!, and he served as a guest judge on Last Comic Standing in 2008. Since 2005 he has headlined at MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas, including a long-running residency show at the Luxor Hotel that opened on November 22, 2005. His act features dozens of props hauled out of oversized trunks, each one paired with a rapid-fire one-liner, and he closes with a lip-synced musical montage. Carrot Top delivers fast, visual, high-energy laughs.
