Book Dean Edwards
Dean Edwards is a comic, actor, writer, singer and voice artist best known for his run on Saturday Night Live, which he joined in 2001. On the show he built a deep bench of impressions, including Michael Jackson, Chris Tucker, Denzel Washington, Wayne Brady, Don Cheadle, Colin Powell, Grace Jones and Billy Ocean. His uncanny Eddie Murphy impression led to one of his best-known voice jobs: he took over as Donkey in the 2010 Halloween special Scared Shrekless. His voice credits also include Scottie Pippen and Spike Lee on Celebrity Deathmatch, a robot on Robotomy and the audiobook of Max Brooks's World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. On screen he has appeared on The Sopranos and played Father Mark in Tony n' Tina's Wedding, and he hosted the acclaimed TV One series Vidiots. Edwards is known in the comedy world for working clean and has taught stand-up technique, wrote for the joke site Daily Comedy and appears in commercials for Snickers and Ford. Audiences get sharp writing, crowd-pleasing impressions and a family-friendly set that keeps the whole room laughing.
