Book Scott Stapp

Scott Stapp is the American singer and songwriter who rose to fame as the founding lead vocalist of the rock band Creed, a dominant rock force of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He formed the group with guitarist Mark Tremonti in 1994, after the two reconnected at Florida State University, with Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums. Creed's debut album, My Own Prison (1997), produced four singles, "My Own Prison", "Torn", "What's This Life For" and "One", each reaching the top three of Billboard's mainstream rock chart. Human Clay (1999) became a massive hit and was followed by Weathered (2001). Stapp and Tremonti won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001 as the writers of the anthem "With Arms Wide Open", and Stapp has earned three Grammy nominations in total. In 2006 Hit Parader ranked him 68th on its list of top heavy metal vocalists. He has also fronted Art of Anarchy and released four solo albums: The Great Divide (2005), Proof of Life (2013), The Space Between the Shadows (2019) and Higher Power (2024). Live, he delivers the soaring baritone behind some of modern rock's most enduring anthems.
