Book Nelson
Nelson is a rock duo of twin brothers Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, the sons of singer-actor Ricky Nelson and grandsons of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson. Their 1990 debut After the Rain made them stars with "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection" and the title song, a pair of melodic, harmony-rich rock hits. They followed with Because They Can, Imaginator, The Silence Is Broken, Life, Brother Harmony, Lightning Strikes Twice, Before the Rain, This Christmas and Peace Out, eleven albums in all. The brothers perform a show that blends their own songs with the music of their father in Ricky Nelson Remembered, which honors a family legacy that spans television, rock and roll and country. Guinness World Records recognizes the Nelsons as the only family with number-one hits across three consecutive generations, starting with Ozzie and Harriet. Since leaving Geffen Records in 1995 the brothers have released music independently on their own Stone Canyon Records label.
