Book Bob Schneider

Bob Schneider is an Austin, Texas musician and songwriter, who first made his name fronting the rock band Ugly Americans. His discography runs past 20 studio albums and EPs, a large share of them issued through Shockorama Records, the label he runs himself. His solo career took shape in 1999 with the acoustic collection Songs Sung & Played on Guitar at the Same Time, and his first major album, Lonelyland, became a local phenomenon, selling over 10,000 copies at Austin's Waterloo Records alone before a national release through Universal Records in 2001; its song "Big Blue Sea" earned wide radio play. His deep catalog includes I'm Good Now, The Californian, Lovely Creatures, A Perfect Day, King Kong, Blood and Bones, The Human Torch and The Texas Bluegrass Massacre in 2025. Schneider's sound centers on acoustic singer-songwriter material with forays into rock, electronics and other genres. He performs solo and with groups such as his Lonelyland and Texas Bluegrass Massacre bands, and has held a long-standing weekly Monday residency at Austin's Saxon Pub. His shows are famous for improvisation and lively audience interaction.
