Book Richard Marx
Richard Marx is a Chicago singer-songwriter who became a pop star in 1987 with his self-titled debut and the singles "Don't Mean Nothing," "Should've Known Better" and "Hold On to the Nights." Repeat Offender in 1989 brought "Right Here Waiting," a ballad that remains a wedding and radio standard. Further albums include Rush Street, Paid Vacation, Flesh and Bone, Days in Avalon, My Own Best Enemy, Emotional Remains, Beautiful Goodbye, Limitless in 2020, Songwriter in 2022 and After Hours in 2026. A prolific writer for other artists, he co-wrote "Dance with My Father" with Luther Vandross, which won the Grammy for Song of the Year, and Grammy.com lists one win and five nominations. In 2017 he held a residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas with his show Satisfied: Only the Hits. Marx's warm tenor and storytelling charm make him a favorite at theaters, casinos and corporate events.
