Rick Braun is an American smooth jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist, trombonist, keyboardist, vocalist, composer and producer, born in 1955. Before his solo career he wrote "Here with Me" with REO Speedwagon, a top twenty hit, and spent years as a studio and touring player alongside Crowded House, Natalie Cole, Glenn Frey, Tom Petty, Sade, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner and War. Since then he has built a deep discography that includes Kisses in the Rain (2001) and R n R (2007), both of which reached number one, plus All It Takes (2009), the vocal album Sings with Strings (2011), Can You Feel It (2014), Around the Horn (2017), Crossroads (2019), Rick Braun (2022), It’s Christmas (2024) and Rick Braun Plays Chuck Mangione (2026).
