Book Reik
Reik is a pop rock band from Mexicali in Mexico's Baja California, created in 2003 by Jesús Navarro on lead vocals, Julio Ramírez on guitar and Gilberto Marín on guitar. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2005 with the singles "Yo Quisiera" and "Qué Vida La Mía," and Secuencia followed in 2006, led by "Invierno." Their third album, Un día más, earned the group a 2009 Latin Grammy in the duo or group pop album category. The band has since released Peligro in 2011, Des/Amor, Ahora in 2019 and Panorama in 2024, seven studio albums in all, and has moved from Latin pop toward a more urban sound. Collaborations with reggaeton stars brought a new wave of popularity, including "Ya Me Enteré" with Nicky Jam, "Me Niego" with Ozuna and "Amigos Con Derechos" with Maluma, plus "One More Time (Otra Vez)" with the Korean pop group Super Junior. Reik has also won a Latin Billboard Music Award and four Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica awards. Their shows are polished, romantic and sing-along heavy, with a large following across Latin America.
