Book Nile Rodgers

Nile Rodgers is an American guitarist, songwriter and producer whose rhythmic, chopping guitar style helped shape disco, funk and modern pop. With bassist Bernard Edwards he co-founded Chic, which delivered "Everybody Dance," "Le Freak," "I Want Your Love" and "Good Times," a chart-topping groove that countless artists have sampled. The pair also wrote and produced "We Are Family" and "He's the Greatest Dancer" for Sister Sledge and "I'm Coming Out" and "Upside Down" for Diana Ross. Rodgers went on to produce David Bowie's Let's Dance, Madonna's Like a Virgin, Duran Duran's "The Reflex" and "Notorious" and INXS's "Original Sin," and has collaborated with Daft Punk, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Avicii, Kylie Minogue and Beyoncé. His Grammy wins include Album of the Year for Random Access Memories, Record of the Year for "Get Lucky" and Best R&B Song for Beyoncé's "CUFF IT." He has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received the Polar Music Prize in 2024, and he co-founded the nonprofit We Are Family Foundation. Leading Chic on stage, Rodgers turns a lifetime of hits into a nonstop dance party.
