Book Nigel Farage

Nigel Farage is a British politician and broadcaster best known as the leading campaigner for Brexit. Before entering public life he worked in the City of London commodities trade at firms including Drexel Burnham Lambert, Crédit Lyonnais and Refco. A Conservative Party member from 1978 to 1992, he became a prominent Eurosceptic in the early 1990s and won an European Parliament seat in 1999, representing South East England until Britain left the European Union in 2020. Farage led UKIP from 2006 to 2009 and again from 2010 to 2016, guiding the party to first place at the 2014 European elections and helping set the stage for the 2016 referendum on EU membership. In 2018 he co-founded the Brexit Party, later renamed Reform, which topped the 2019 European Parliament election. He returned as the party's leader in 2024 and won the Clacton seat at that year's general election. He told the story of his 2014 campaign in The Purple Revolution: The Year That Changed Everything (2015). Farage is a combative, quick-witted speaker on Brexit, populism and political campaigning.
