Book Chet Faker
Chet Faker is the stage name of Nicholas James Murphy, a singer and songwriter from Australia born in 1988. He emerged in 2012 with the EP Thinking in Textures and signed with Downtown Records in the United States. That October he collected the breakthrough artist prize at the Australian independent music awards, and the EP won best independent single or EP. His debut album, Built on Glass, arrived in 2014, followed by Hotel Surrender in 2021 and A Love for Strangers in 2026. Murphy's music blends soulful, husky vocals with electronic textures and minimal, atmospheric production, and he is widely known for a slow-burning cover of a famous R&B song that helped introduce him to a global audience. In concert he offers an intimate, moody and carefully paced set built around keyboards and a warm, smoky voice.
