Book MisterWives
MisterWives is an American indie pop band from New York City fronted by singer Mandy Lee, alongside Etienne Bowler on drums and percussion, William Hehir on bass, Marc Campbell on guitar and Mike Murphy on keys and saxophone. The group came together in late 2012 when Lee put together an '80s cover band for her birthday, and its playful name is a gender-flipped spin on the phrase sister wives. After their first show at New York's Canal Room in February 2013, they signed with Photo Finish Records the next day, toured with Half Moon Run, American Authors and The Royal Concept, and issued the debut EP Reflections. Their first full-length, Our Own House, arrived in January 2015, followed by Connect the Dots (2017), Superbloom (2020) and Nosebleeds (2023). Built around Lee's powerful voice, saxophone color and big pop hooks, MisterWives deliver colorful, high-energy shows full of joyful, danceable indie pop.
