Book Lower Than Atlantis

Lower Than Atlantis were the English rock band from Watford, Hertfordshire, who grew from a hardcore punk outfit into a polished melodic rock act. They formed in 2007 while the members were at college, with singer, guitarist and songwriter Mike Duce leading the group with Ben Sansom on guitar, Declan Hart on bass and Eddy Thrower on drums. Their early records Far Q (2010) and World Record (2011) showed off their raw, energetic roots and earned them a loyal following on the British rock circuit. After signing with Island Records in 2012, they released Changing Tune (2012), which moved toward bigger choruses and cleaner production. The self-titled Lower Than Atlantis (2014) continued that evolution and became their breakthrough, carried by radio-friendly rock anthems, and they backed their releases with extensive touring, including the Man Tour in 2013. Their fifth and final studio album, Safe in Sound, arrived in 2017. In December 2018 the band announced it would split after three last shows in 2019. Lower Than Atlantis left a catalog of catchy, guitar-driven songs that traced their steady growth from basement punk to arena-ready rock.
