Book Jermaine Jackson
Jermaine Jackson is a singer, bassist and producer who sang second lead behind his brother Michael in the Jackson 5, adding his voice to "I Want You Back," "ABC," "I'll Be There," "The Love You Save" and "Dancing Machine," and is an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the group. The brothers signed with Steeltown Records in 1967 and moved to Berry Gordy's Motown in 1969. When the rest of the family left for Epic Records in 1976, Jermaine stayed with Motown and built a solo career, scoring with "Daddy's Home" and the Stevie Wonder-produced title track from Let's Get Serious (1980), a R&B chart-topper. He rejoined his brothers in the Jacksons in 1983 for the Victory album and tour and remained with the group until 2020. He also produced and sang duets with Whitney Houston on her 1985 debut album. His solo catalog spans albums from Jermaine (1972) and My Name Is Jermaine to Precious Moments, Don't Take It Personal and I Wish You Love (2012). A five-time Grammy nominee, he also wrote the memoir You Are Not Alone.
