Book Hinder
Hinder is a hard rock band from Oklahoma City, formed in 2001 by singer Austin Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey and drummer Cody Hanson. Bassist Cole Parker joined in 2002 during the sessions for the debut EP Far from Close, and after his exit the band added bassist Mike Rodden and guitarist Mark King in 2004. Their breakout came with Extreme Behavior in 2005, which carried the hit ballad "Lips of an Angel." Later albums include Take It to the Limit in 2008, All American Nightmare in 2010, Welcome to the Freakshow in 2012, When the Smoke Clears in 2015, The Reign in 2017 and Back to Life in 2025, seven in all. The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame inducted the band in 2007, and in 2008 they toured on the Jägermeister Music Tour. Hinder delivers loud, anthemic modern hard rock for road-ready crowds.
