Book Hedley

Hedley was a Canadian pop rock band started in 2003 in the city of Abbotsford, British Columbia, and named after the small British Columbia community of Hedley. Lead singer Jacob Hoggard finished in the top three of Canadian Idol's second season in 2004, and then the group signed with Universal Music Canada and released its self-titled debut album in 2005. Later albums included Famous Last Words in 2007, Never Too Late in 2008, The Show Must Go in 2009, Storms in 2011, Wild Life in 2013, Hello in 2015 and Cageless in 2017, eight studio albums in total. Hedley won Juno Awards for pop album of the year in 2012 and video of the year in 2011, and was nominated many more times in categories such as group of the year, album of the year, single of the year, breakthrough group of the year and songwriter of the year. The group later disbanded. Their catchy, radio-ready pop rock and high-energy live sets made them a fixture on Canadian stages through the 2000s and 2010s.
